Rushmore Tramway Adventures
Come enjoy a Black Hills’ destination that has it all - no matter what your age, this attraction truly offers a special experience for everyone. Whether you are an adventurous youngster (or just “young at heart”) this is the place for you.
All guests ride the scenic chairlift up to the park area at its summit. There, you can stroll along the flower-lined pathways, view Mt. Rushmore, and enjoy a burger and a beer at our outdoor Grille.
Choose to ride the gravity driven, operator contrled slide back to the base or sign-up early and experience a guided 2-hour zip-line expedition. Spanning panoramic vistas on over a mile of ziplines, you'll fly beyond granite spires through fragrant Ponderosas, soaring over canyon and creek, with breathtaking views of the majestic faces of Mt. Rushmore.

Scenic Chairlifts
Enjoy the great outdoors by treating yourself to a smooth, relaxing ride on the scenic Tramway Chairlift. You’ll glide up through the fragrant Ponderosa pines to the prettiest hilltop in the Black Hills. There you’ll find a large and beautiful park area, with waterfalls, walking paths and a special view of Mt. Rushmore across the valley. Also located in the park area is our rustic outdoor café, where sandwiches are grilled to order while you relax in the shade, enjoying the thousands of flowers scattered among the granite rock formations.
